Fred Bauer - Instructor

Fred Bauer has been in education for over 20 years after graduating from Penn State in 1982 with a B. S. in Industrial Technology. He has studied at the graduate level at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and the College of New Jersey . Currently he is a teacher and department chairperson for the Industrial Technology at Council Rock South High School . Fred has also served as an adjunct professor at the Penn State University and the College of New Jersey .

Fred is a master teacher in the fields of graphics, mechanical, and architectural design. Fred has been a pioneer with robotics and robotics competition in education. He is the director for the technology club at the high school. Fred has guided many student teams in international competitions. His high school teams have competed and placed several times against difficult competition, including college programs.

Fred has been involved in coaching throughout his entire teaching career. He has been the head and assistant coach in both volleyball and gymnastics at the high school level. He is passionate about aeronautics and has instructed in a Robotics and Aviation Camp for college bound students. He is heavily involved in flying remote controlled model airplanes.

Fred will be a strong asset to camp staff. He and his wife are enjoying raising their two sons.
