Frances Warwick - Instructor
Frances is recently retired from a career in nursing and hospital administration. She has over forty years experience with patients, administration and community work. She has earned RN, BSN, MSN and CNS (clinical nurse specialist) degrees, as well as several national certifications in various specialties.
As a mother of four grown children (all college graduates) and four grandchildren, she served as a Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader for 5 years. She has led camping and traveling trips and holds her CPR and First Aid certifications. In addition, she is an experienced backpacker with many years of family trips.
Her career in nursing included Hospital Administration with supervision of several departments and more than 100 nurses and ancillary staff. She was also a preceptor and mentor for student nurses. Frances had extensive experience with community healthcare education, program development. She founded and facilitated a Diabetes Youth Group, in Doylestown, PA. and served as a teacher in Diabetes Education Classes. Frances worked as Cancer Program Administrator in a local hospital and was responsible for compliance with national standards and regulations. She was very active and continues to work with community cancer screenings, education programs, support groups, including cancer survivor programs.
In her recreational time, she has become a student pilot with solo experience. (Co-pilot for her husband Ed) She is looking forward to working this summer at Physics and Flight. Frances is a key asset in a successful camp program. |
